We’re going to party at Goldy’s Gameroom!
What is the plan for the party on Saturday night?
We'll be gathering at Goldy’s Gameroom at Coffman Memorial Union on the University of Minnesota East Bank campus from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. We’ll have bowling, karaoke, pool, foosball, board games, and even a gaming station. Make sure to take a picture (or several) in the photo booth and leave a note in our guest book.
Convenient parking is located in the East River Road Garage, with entrances off either Delaware St SE or East River Road. The entrance to Coffman via the tunnel will not be open (though you will be able to return to the garage directly via the tunnel), so to get to the party
Park near the elevator, ideally on level A
Take the elevator UP to level 1 (top floor/Plaza Level)
Exit the building and walk along the plaza toward, and then across, the street
Follow the signs marked “Alternative Accessible Entrance” (directing you initially to the left)
Look for balloons marking the fence-lined sidewalk to the entrance, near the pedestrian crosswalk across Delaware from the small surface lot in front of the parking ramp entrance (this is also the best place to drop off a partygoer if you’re not staying)
As soon as you enter the building, either
Take the stairs directly inside the entrance down to the party, or
Head further into the building to take the elevator (which will be on the wall to your right) to the Basement, where you’ll find the party across from the elevator lobby
What’s the food situation?
We’ll have salad, dinner, dessert, hot snacks, and cold non-alcoholic drinks. We’ll have a variety of vegetarian, gluten free, and dairy free options.
Do I need to stick around if my kid is attending Saturday night?
Nope. You’re very welcome to hang out, but also 100% fine to drop them off. Same goes for services - it’s a very safe space and there will be plenty of people around.
